Nathan is a permanent resident of the Cayman Islands and is a director of Marbury Fund Services (Cayman) Limited, licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (’CIMA’). Nathan is registered as a director with CIMA pursuant to the Directors Licensing and Registration Act, 2014.

Prior to joining Marbury in April 2024, Nathan was a Director at Atlantic Directors Limited for almost 7 years, where he also provided professional director services to Alternative Investment Funds and Investment Management Companies.

With more than 30 years of experience in global financial markets, Nathan brings expertise in portfolio and risk management, having managed capital across multiple asset classes and investment strategies. Nathan works with both hedge and private fund managers across various strategies including equities, global macro, public and private credit, venture capital, distressed debt, and commodities.

In 1996 Nathan joined Manro-Haydan, a London-based global macro-focused Investment Manager, heading up their operations team, later as an analyst and ultimately, portfolio manager. For 15 years he managed derivative focused portfolios. In 2010, Nathan co-founded Marylebone Diversified LLP in London, as partner and senior portfolio manager. In 2012 Nathan moved to the Cayman Islands to build the Investment Manager, MD Cayman Ltd, and a global macro-focused hedge fund.

Nathan’s comprehensive knowledge of operations, risk, valuation, and multiple strategies is a valuable resource for fund boards and Investment Mangers navigating today’s regulatory and economic substance requirements in the Cayman Islands. Mr. Day is an Accredited Director with ICSA and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with Economics and Law from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 1996.
